Student Research Opportunities

Ever ruminate on the mysteries of sleep or ponder exactly what is in your drinking water? If so, chances are likely that you'll find an outlet for your curiosity at Saint Anselm. We consider research an integral part of an undergraduate education and have built opportunities for research into our curriculum.

Our distinguished faculty includes senior researchers conducting work in the laboratory and social sciences, archaeological history and esoteric theology. Through their coursework, students have the opportunity to work alongside instructors and gain valuable experience as research assistants.

Saint Anselm is also home to a unique Undergraduate Research Scholar Program that offers students the opportunity to partner with a Saint Anselm faculty mentor and an graduate-level researcher at a host institution where the student will spend a summer investigating the topic of their choice. The program concludes with the presentation of the students' findings at an annual research symposium held on campus. Successful completion of the program can be invaluable in seeking admission to graduate schools.
