Summer and holiday breaks we are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Student, faculty, and department mailboxes are accessible by key when the Mail Center and/or the arena is open. We accept daily deliveries from the USPS, UPS, FedEx Home, Express and Ground, and DHL. In addition to offering most of the mailing services that a post office would offer, we are able to ship outgoing packages via UPS as well. The mail center also processes all on-campus and outgoing mail.

Student Mailing Address

The only acceptable format for mail addressed to you for delivery at Saint Anselm is shown below:

Student Name
Saint Anselm College
100 St Anselm Dr #_ _ _ _
Manchester  NH 03102-1310

For mail to be properly handled and delivered to you on time, please use this address format. Do not use the words "PO Box" as we are not a U.S. Post Office and they will return or re-route your mail if it is addressed that way. Mail or parcels delivered to the campus that do not have your name or proper box number on them will result in a delay of delivery or return of your mail. This is especially true for bank and credit card statements. Magazines that do not include your box number will be returned or recycled.

Mailbox Keys

All degree students are assigned a campus mailbox. This mailbox remains the same throughout your full-time academic stay. There is $5 fee for the purchase of the mailbox key. Replacement keys are $5 per key. In accordance with U.S. Postal Service regulations and Campus Mail Center rules, no letter mail will be given out over the counter. You must use your key to pick up your mail.

Incoming Mail

When a letter or package arrives for you we will first attempt to place it into your mailbox. If it is too large to fit, a notice is placed in your mailbox to announce its arrival. In order to retrieve your package, you must present the notice along with photo identification at the counter.

Due to facility limitations, we cannot hold large items for longer than 48 hours, and we reserve the right to return parcels unclaimed for more than 30 days. Any obvious food items must be picked up within 7 days or they will be returned to the sender as unclaimed. Shipments of furniture, automobile tires, alcohol, or groceries will not be accepted at this facility.

Other Campus Mail Center Services

Although we are not an official United States Post Office, we provide all the basic services including stamp sales, as well as outgoing domestic and international letter and package services. We also provide shipping services with UPS. We will help you by recommending the best shipper and method for your mailing needs and carry a small variety of envelopes and packaging to accommodate most of these needs. We recommend all outgoing parcels be packaged properly to avoid any damage in shipment (refer to carrier regulations on their website). We do not take responsibility for any item lost or damaged in shipping. International bound mail over 13 ounces falls under strict guidelines and requires a customs declaration form which must be completed on the USPS web site. We are happy to answer any questions you might have regarding this form.
