The Campus Mail Center, located on the lower level of Cushing, is open for business Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-3:45 p.m.
In addition to offering most of the services that a regular post office would offer, we are able to ship out and receive letters and packages using FedEx, UPS, and DHL. The mail center also processes all on-campus mail. Student, faculty, and department mailboxes are accessible 24 hours when school is in session. Packages too large to fit into a mailbox may be picked up at our service window during regular business hours.

Students are required to adhere to U.S.P.S. regulations. Please do not use the words "PO Box" as we are not a U.S. Post Office and they will return your mail if it is addressed that way. Any mail or parcels addressed to you that do not have your proper box number on them will be returned to the sender. This is especially true for bank and credit card statements. Magazines that do not include your box number will be returned or recycled.
Campus Mail Center Services
Although we are not an official United States Post Office, we provide all the basic services including:
- stamp sales
- international mail shipment
- local mail shipment
- package shipment
We also provide services with UPS, FedEx, and DHL. We will do our best to recommend the best shipper for your needs. We have a small variety of envelopes and packaging to accommodate most shipping needs. All parcels must be packaged properly to avoid any damage in shipment.
International bound mail over 13 ounces falls under strict guidelines and requires a customs declaration form which can be picked up at the campus mail center or downloaded from the internet. We are happy to answer any questions you might have regarding this form.
When a shipment arrives for you, a notice is placed in your mailbox. In order to retrieve your package, you must return the notice and provide photo identification at the counter. Due to facility limitations, we cannot hold parcels for more than 30 days. After this period, packages will be returned to the sender as unclaimed. Shipments of furniture, automobile tires, alcohol, or groceries will not be accepted at this facility. All incoming mail must be addressed properly, refer to U.S. postal mailing regulations for more details.
All carriers require the return address to be the college address, with your name and box number included. This is for security reasons and the carriers will not waiver on this. In order for items to be processed on the same day, they must be received no later than 3:30 p.m. Items brought to the mail center after 3:30 p.m. may not be processed until the following business day.
All degree students are assigned a campus mailbox. This mailbox remains the same throughout your full-time academic stay. There is $5 fee for the purchase of your mailbox key. Replacement keys are $5 per key. In accordance with U.S. Postal Service regulations, no mail can be given out over the counter. You must use your key to pick up your mail.
