  • Most academic department and administrative department job duties are: answering phones, filing, making copies, delivering and picking up mail, special projects, etc.
  • Not all job openings are posted below; some departments choose not to post because they anticipate filling with re-hires and walk-in inquiries.
  • If a department has no openings, ask if you can be put on a waiting list.

Save Time!

  • Be ready to show your Financial Aid Award letter to person who wants to hire you.
  • IF you have a yellow card, great, you do not need to come to HR. Bring it with you when you job hunt.
  • IF you never worked on campus before (and therefore do not have a Yellow Card), get your job first (Student Employment Offer letter), come to HR with that and your original IDs.

Academic Advisement: Assistant Dean of Sophomores and Student Support Services
Details: 4-5 hour per week until May 12
Possibility of 20 hours/week from May 15 through June 30

Basic Function Student will assist the Retention Committee with qualitative interviews/focus with at risk populations and perform data entry and analysis using Excel and Qualtrics. Student may conduct research on college peer and aspirant institutions. May perform a wide variety of clerical/secretarial and administrative tasks in support of the Assistant Deans.
Desired Qualifications
· Broad base of general clerical/administrative skills.
· Student has taken Research Methods.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Willingness to learn new applications such as Qualtrics.
· Good interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with students, use tact, discretion, and diplomacy; must be able to keep sensitive data highly confidential.
· Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of college personnel, faculty, students, parents, and/or outside individuals/organizations verbally and in writing.
· Experience creating and/or coordinating student support programs.
· Good reading, spelling/grammar, proof reading and general writing and math skills.

Details: Required schedule -Two Shifts, one weekday shift AND one weekend shift. Hours: 7 p.m.-10:30 p.m. M,T,W,TH & 6 p.m. -10 p.m. Friday, Saturday, or Sunday

Registrar: SUMMER Office Assistant needed
Details: This position is a 30 hours per week M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm (no weekends except possibly commencement)
Full range of office (clerical) duties:
- Answering of phone(s) fielding calls
- Filing, data entry, shredding, mail delivery, and helping with special projects. 
Good computer skills and phone skills are important. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of the office data.
