by Neil Simon
Four couples are invited to the elite townhouse of the Deputy Mayor of New York and his wife to celebrate the hosts' tenth anniversary. When they arrive, they discover the host has been shot. Add a missing wife, a missing cook, a damaged car, whiplash, reoccurring back spasms, and rumors galore as the situation gets progressively more difficult to sustain when nobody can remember who has been told what about whom. The decision to conceal everything from the police and the press spins the evening into hilarity. Please join the Players as they present the classic Neil Simon farce Rumors, last performed at the Dana Center in the fall of 2002.
