Tuition Exchange Program

Saint Anselm College offers a variety of tuition remission and tuition exchange programs to its full time employees. These programs enable employees and/or their dependents to attend Saint Anselm College or for the dependents of employees to apply for tuition scholarships at colleges and universities throughout the country. The college can export the dependents of faculty, administrators and hourly employees to other schools who offer tuition exchange scholarships, and can import dependents of employees of other colleges and universities and provide tuition exchange scholarships for them.

Eligibility


All full-time faculty and full-time administrators and their dependents are eligible for tuition programs after one year of full time service.

Hourly Staff are eligible for Saint Anselm College Tuition Remission (SAC) after one year of full time service; their dependents are eligible after three years of full time service. For the NHCUC & CIC programs, dependents are eligible after one year of full time service at Saint Anselm College.

Tuition Remission Program to attend Saint Anselm College


  • 100% tuition remission for self, spouse, and dependent children
  • full time or part time attendance (includes summer sessions)
  • IRS definition of dependency

Educational Assurance Program


For children of deceased or incapacitated administrator or faculty member

  • 50% tuition remission for administrator/faculty member who has completed 6 years of continuous, full-time service.
  • 100% tuition remission for administrator/faculty member who has completed 12 years of continuous, full-time service.

Faculty Assurance Program


  • Established by Faculty Senate and funded by voluntary contribution from faculty and administrators. Program provides books and other education necessities to children of deceased members of faculty and administrative staff who attend Saint Anselm College
  • Requests for benefits should be made to Chairperson of Academic Benefits and Faculty Welfare for the Faculty Senate

Tuition Remission Forms for Attending Saint Anselm College

Tuition remission forms for attendance at Saint Anselm College are located in the Office of Human Resources. The employee completes a form, HR verifies eligibility, and the form is then processed by the Office of Financial Aid.

Tuition Exchange Forms for Other Programs

Forms for NHCUC, CIC-TEP, and TE programs are located in the Office of Financial Aid. The employee completes a form, HR verifies eligibility, and the form is then processed by the Office of Financial Aid.

New Hampshire College and University Consortium (NHCUC)


Eligibility

Dependent children of faculty, administrators and hourly staff after one year of full-time continuous service.

  • Can attend Colby-Sawyer College, Franklin Pierce University, New England College , Rivier College, and Southern New Hampshire University
  • Restricted to full time undergraduate, campus-based day students during regular academic year (no summer school, special programs, continuing education, distance education, graduate programs or part-time status)
  • Application by March 1 to Financial Aid Office
  • Tuition waiver on annual basis through Financial Aid Office

Council of Independent Colleges - Tuition Exchange Program (CIC)


Eligibility

Spouses and dependent children of faculty, administrators and hourly staff after one year of full-time continuous service.

  • Can attend CIC network schools
  • Must be full time undergraduate
  • Granting of tuition rests with host institution
  • Application by March 1 to Financial Aid Office
  • Must apply on annual basis through Financial Aid Office

Tuition Exchange Program (TE)


Eligibility

Dependent children of faculty and administrators after one year of full-time continuous service (hourly staff are not eligible).

  • Can attend TE network schools
  • Must be full time undergraduate
  • Awarded on basis on seniority
    • Those with 6 or more years of service eligible for awards of four years duration
    • Those with fewer than 6 years of service eligible for awards of two years duration
  • Application by Nov. 1st to Chairperson of Academic Benefits and Faculty Welfare for Faculty Senate
