Applicants for student employment may contact the person listed for each position, or apply in person at the hiring department. Please bring a completed student employment job application to the hiring department and a copy of your Federal Work Study award letter if you have FWS.

ARC is looking to hire NOW for the fall semester

ARC Night Manager

Location: Cushing Student Center, 1st floor
Federal Work Study or SAC Student Payroll: 6-8 positions anticipated. Now accepting applications for Fall 2013.

Duties: Work evening hours to serve as liaison between the Academic Resource Center (ARC) professional staff and student staff. Manage ARC operation, including employee compliance w/ARC policies, procedures, tasks, etc. Cover shifts for absent staff; schedule and reschedule student appointments as necessary; attend training and meetings. Work on various office projects and tasks such as data entry, document creation, filing, filling paper in printers, ensuring tidy ARC workspace, and fulfilling other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: A working knowledge of the programs and services of the Academic Resource Center. Strong communication skills. Customer service experience. Responsible, reliable, punctual, accountable, organized, engaged, willing to learn, basic computer software knowledge, accurate typing and clerical skills.

Peer Tutor & Writing Assistant

Contact: Applicants should apply in person to Professor Lafleur at the ARC.
Location: Academic Resource Center (ARC) in Cushing Center - Lower Level
Federal Work Study and Student Payroll Positions: 20 - 25
Duties: Tutor students and participate in regular training workshops and meetings.

Student Ambassador/Admission Assistant

Federal Work Study Positions: Accepting applications for future openings

Duties: Greeting, welcoming and talking with prospective students and their families; and, conducting tours. Having a working knowledge of the programs and services of Saint Anselm College. Participating in various events and programs sponsored by the Office of Admission. Being aware of the history and culture of Saint Anselm College. Serving as a liaison between the Admission Staff and our guests. Completing "post-cards" as a form of follow-up correspondence. Working on various office projects as assigned such as data entry, filing, and processing mail. Assisting Admission staff with special projects. Completing other duties as assigned.
