Honors Society

Tau Chapter of Delta Epsilon Sigma, a National Scholastic Honor Society, inducts a small group of Saint Anselm juniors and seniors each year.  Dr. Montague Brown, Department Chairperson of the Philosohy Department, is the TAU Chapter President.

Election into this honorary society is a mark of distinction, since the Chapter generally inducts no more than forty members each year, fewer than ten percent of any graduating class. This year's induction ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2014.

DES was founded in 1940 with Saint Anselm College joining as a charter chapter. Since that time, the College has been inducting those students who exhibit the qualities of intellect and character that the Society so highly esteems.

Students inducted into the society are presented with a certificate of membership and a lifetime subscription to the DES Bulletin from the national office of the society.  Students may also be eligible for competitive scholarships awarded by the Society for both undergraduate and graduate studies.  For more information go to http://deltaepsilonsigma.org.
