Founded in 2001, the New Hampshire Institute of Politics brings unique civic, leadership, and political opportunities to Saint Anselm College. The community, including students, faculty, and the public, are invited to take part in institute programs to educate, engage, and empower citizens.

In the liberal arts tradition and that of the college, institute programs and events connect politics and international affairs with the arts, current events, economics, ethics, history, philosophy, and theology. The institute sponsors speakers, panels, workshops, and conferences headlined by leaders from government, business, and media. Many distinguished visitors teach in classrooms, meet with students, and dine with the campus community.
