The New Hampshire Institute of Politics is pleased to announce that it will begin accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Kevin Harrington Student Ambassador Program. The program is a unique opportunity for Saint Anselm College students of any major to be involved in supporting the institute's special events, welcoming guests and speakers to the institute.
The institute is looking for highly motivated, dedicated students to work closely with its staff on public programming and civic engagement work. Student ambassadors support the institute's events by assisting in the promotion of events, welcoming guests and VIPs, and serving as greeters and ushers. In addition, the non-partisan student ambassadors often moderate the question and answer period and facilitate book signings and other post-event activities.
Any Saint Anselm College student interested in becoming a NHIOP student ambassador, please contact Carolyn Hammer at chammer@anselm.edu, or mail a completed application to campus box 1802 by September 23, 2011.
