The New Hampshire Institute of Politics & Political Library will host the WMUR-TV and New Hampshire Union Leader Granite State Debates just before the state primary this fall.

Democratic gubernatorial candidates Jackie Cilley, Maggie Hassan, and Bill Kennedy will debate on Sept. 5 and republican gubernatorial candidates Ovide Lamontagne and Kevin Smith will take the stage on Sept. 6.

The debates will air live on WMUR-TV and will be live streaming on WMUR.com starting at 7 p.m. both nights.

The Granite State Debate series is sponsored by AARP New Hampshire.
