Introduction


The Sports Studies Guide is intended to provide an introduction to the wide diversity of sports research resources available to you through Geisel Library. The interdisciplinary nature of this program brings together resources from several disciplines such as psychology, history, classics, philosophy and biology. If you have searched the Geisel Library Catalog but could not locate a book on your topic, try searching WorldCat. WorldCat is a database that allows you to search the collections of libraries throughout the United States. When you locate a title of interest, click on the "Request via Interlibrary Loan" link . Your book(s) will usually be available for pickup in the library within a week. For assistance in using this database please Ask a Librarian.

Ebrary is an online library containing thousands of e-books spanning across all scholarly disciplines. Books can either be opened in QuickView for instant viewing or in the ebrary Reader (a downloadable plug-in), which provides enhanced functionality such as the ability to copy/paste, highlight, or take notes in a particular book.
