Communications and Marketing
On Thurs., April 10, Saint Anselm College will host a benefit concert for the son of communication professor Jonathan Lupo, three-year-old cancer patient Henry Archibald-Lupo, in the Dana Center at 7:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the English department, the benefit will raise money to help the family offset the costs associated with treating the child's cancer. In lieu of tickets, suggested donations are $5+ for students and $15+ for adults. Archibald-Lupo was diagnosed with sarcoma in January and is being treated at Boston Children's Hospital.
The benefit includes a concert, silent auction, and bake sale. Saint Anselm College junior English major, Ryan Sandford is the opening act. Other bands to perform include The Joshua Incident, Davis and Deleault, and the Gleason-Brown Jazz Quintet, all of which are comprised of members of the college community including English professors Ann Norton and Ed Gleason, and Dana Center staff member Joe Deleault.
Silent auction items include a signed Bruins puck, tickets to a Manchester Monarchs game, day passes to Vertical Dreams, and gift certificates to local businesses.
The Dana Center's Koonz Theatre doors open at 7 p.m. For more information about the concert, or to make a donation, contact English professor Landis Magnuson at firstname.lastname@example.org or at campus box #1642. Checks should be made out to "Saint Anselm College" with "Concert for Henry" in the memo line.
For more information about the silent auction or to donate, please contact Dominique Del Prete '15 at email@example.com.
