WMUR-TV and the New Hampshire Union Leader will produce four final debates from the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College prior to the upcoming midterm elections. The "Granite State Debates" will each last one hour and will be moderated by a WMUR anchor, with questions posed by local journalists. The debates will include candidates in the gubernatorial, U.S. Senate and two congressional district races.
Members of the media are welcome to cover these debates via closed circuit video feed in a press room in the institute, but not in the auditorium where the televised debates will be held. In addition to the closed circuit video feed, a multi-box will be provided for those requiring an audio/video feed of the debates. A pool photographer will make photographs of the debates available.
Following each debate, the institute's television studio will be available for candidates who wish to meet with the press.
Please send requests for media credentials for the debates (see schedule below) to Barbara LeBlanc (email@example.com) no later than Monday, October 18. Please include each reporter's name, title, organization, phone number, and e-mail.
Note: There are no tickets available for these events. However, the debates will be broadcast on WMUR and streamed live on WMUR.com.
