Jeanne Kenison, professor emerita and former chair of the economics and business department, died unexpectedly January 13.
She was a graduate of Mount Saint Mary College in Hooksett, N.H., and earned a master of arts degree and M.B.A. at Rollins College. She received her doctorate in education from Vanderbilt University in 1986. She served as a chair of the Department of Economics and Business from 1994 until she retired in May 2010. Prior to joining the faculty of Saint Anselm College, she taught mathematics at New Hampshire College.
Jeanne Kenison will be remembered for her many contributions to Saint Anselm College both as a professor, and as a leader of her department and among faculty.
"She was an outstanding teacher and chairperson; beloved by all her colleagues" says Fr. Peter Guerin, O.S.B.
Family members include, alumni, Tracy (Kenison) Holt '86 and Dale Kenison-Barnes '89, and husband and Saint Anselm College Professor Emeritus of the economics and business department, Arthur Kenison '63.
