Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate Mass and Reception

Saturday, May 16, 2015
Time: 3 p.m.
Location: Abbey Church

All graduands, parents, guests, faculty and staff are invited to attend the convocation, mass and reception.

Graduands with cap and gown, the Faculty, and the Benedictine Community assemble in the Geisel Library at 2:30 p.m. The Academic Procession begins at 2:50 p.m. A Mass of Thanksgiving will follow the Honors Convocation, with a reception on the College Green immediately following Mass. Light refreshments will be served.

Graduands with cap, gown, and hood assemble in Stoutenburgh Gymnasium at 1 p.m. The Academic Procession leaves Stoutenburgh Gymnasium at 1:50 p.m. Exercises should conclude by 4 p.m.

Mar. 24, 2015 - The college is pleased to announce that on May 17, 2015 during the college's 122nd Commencement Exercises, in addition to commencement speaker Gov. Rain Plan

If the weather is inclement, Commencement takes place in the Thomas F. Sullivan Arena. Graduands may obtain five tickets, available in the Registrar's Office, starting on Friday, May 1st during regular business hours, and on the morning of Commencement between 10 a.m. and noon.


Due to the many guests that join us for commencement, please be prepared to walk across campus from outlying parking lots. Staff will be on hand to direct guests to handicapped and general parking lots.

Live-Stream Available

Live online video will be provided of the Commencement ceremony for those unable to join us on campus. The video will be streamed on this page on Sunday, May 17.

On-Campus Simulcast

A simulcast of the ceremonies will be available in the Coffee Shop/Pub, Dana Center, Lower Church and the Perini Lecture Hall of the Goulet Center.
