Celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. 2009
Saint Anselm College will commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a series of special events starting Monday, Jan. 12. Titled “Race Matters,” this series will include lectures, a panel discussion, film screenings and discussions, and a watch party for the inauguration of our nation’s first black president.
The programming also includes “Facing Prejudice Everyday,” an environmental graphic design project that will run from Jan. 12 through Feb. 27, in the Dana Center Lobby.
The organizers of this series encourage you to help “Keep his Dream Alive,” by supporting this wonderful lineup.
