Murray Dewart, Sculptor

Murray Dewart's sculptures of steel, granite, copper and huge timbers define and complement their environment by acting as gates, path makers or meditative focal points. Massive twelve foot arches easily span walkways while other sculptures invite participation with their bell and gong forms. The artist, a graduate of Harvard College and the Massachusetts College of Art has completed large scale public sculptures in Alabama and Pennsylvania and has work in many museums and public collections.
