I teach primarily black and white photography including
developing film and making prints. My students learn to work with a
series of images and sequencing within a portfolio. Intermediate students
continue to develop their technical skills and are introduced to creating
a one-of-a-kind book.
My personal work includes black and white portraits
and self-portraits made in a documentary style. I am interested in capturing
emotions and peak moments in life. I also work in color, making larger
abstracted images from nature.
