B.A. Art History Boston University, Boston, MA
Arrived at Saint Anselm: 1991

I teach primarily black and white photography including developing film and making prints. My students learn to work with a series of images and sequencing within a portfolio. Intermediate students continue to develop their technical skills and are introduced to creating a one-of-a-kind book.

My personal work includes black and white portraits and self-portraits made in a documentary style. I am interested in capturing emotions and peak moments in life. I also work in color, making larger abstracted images from nature.

Artists' books have been one of my interests for many years; I make one-of-a-kind books that include my photographic images.

My work has been exhibited nationally and frequently in New England from Boston to Maine. I am involved in three artists' groups; NO LIMITS, a national women's organization for artists; the NH CHAPTER, WOMEN'S CAUCUS FOR THE ARTS for which I am Vice President; and a local artists' group that I organized to meet and share work on a monthly basis.
