Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30 PM-3:45 PM
Description of the Course: This course is intended to introduce students to the subject matter and methods of American Studies. It will examine the most common themes in the American experience, especially the intersection of race, class, and gender and their impact on what it means to be an American. This course also provides the interdisciplinary foundation that students will need to complete the American Studies major.
