Description
of the Course: An introduction to urban, cultural and social history. The
course examines selected cities over time, looking at their physical composition
and the impact of their economic, social, political, and cultural functions
on social change. This year we will focus on Athens, Florence, Paris, London
and Vienna. We will end the course by looking at a modern American city.
Class Meeting Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM-11:15 AM
