Description of the Course: A survey of basic American economic, political, and social developments. Topics include the Gilded Age, Populism, American imperialism, the Progressive Era, World War I, the 1920s, the Great Depression, World War II, Civil Rights, the social movements of the 1960s, the Vietnam War, and the rise of modern Conservatism.
