Research Interests

I am interested in several areas of United States History including the Civil War, Immigration and ethnic history, Afro-American History, and the Ante-Bellum South.

In addition to teaching here at St. Anselm College, I have served the College as Dean of Students, Assistant Academic Dean and Chair of the History Department.

I have also served as President of the Woodside Priory School , a College Preparatory School located in Portola Valley, California
