To fulfill its mission, a university must demand honesty from all its members. If you wish to understand more fully what honesty requires of you both inside and outside the classroom, please consult the "Academic Honesty" section of The Logger. Any violation of the rules set out in this section constitutes a grave matter. If I detect such a violation on your part, I reserve the right to inflict any punishment I deem necessaryfrom a zero on a particular assignment to an F for the class.
Descriptions of all the assigned readings for the semester are presented on this page. The actual reading assignments for each class period may be found on the Class Schedule. You are responsible for completing each day's reading assignment before the relevant class period.
All readings may be purchased at the UPS Bookstore in Wheelock Student Center.
Over the course of the semester, you are responsible for attending two of the movie viewings listed on this page and then writing short essays about each. Additional information about the essay assignments may be found in the section on Essays.
You are responsible for completing a number of assignments over the course of the semester. Information regarding each assignment, and its significance to your course grade, may be found on this page.
