Khafre built the second largest pyramid at Giza as well as the famous
Great Sphinx, which ostensibly reflects his features. This statue also
sat in the valley temple associated with Khafre's pyramid. Just over 47
inches tall, it consists of graywacke (a coarse, dark sandstone).
