| BI329 Plant Biology |
An introductory lecture and laboratory course in general plant biology that emphasizes
plant ecology and evolution. Lecture will focus on plant life history strategies
and physiological and anatomical adaptations that enable plants to survive under
conditions of environmental stress. In laboratory, students will explore basic
plant anatomy and physiology, as well as growth, competition and plant-animal
interactions.
Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory each week for one semester.
Four credits.
Prerequisite: BI103 -104 or equivalent as determined by Department Chair |
