MAJORS / COURSES Spring/Fall Courses FACULTY PREPROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS INSTRUMENTATION CLAIRE BOOTHE LUCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM MAJORS / COURSES CH220 Forensic Chemistry A one-semester chemistry course designed to allow non-science students interested in forensics an opportunity to explore the theory and practice of this discipline. The primary goal of the course is to present chemical principles and facts at a level sufficiently rigorous that a student successfully completing the course can act as an informed citizen and be able to use this information in a criminal justice setting. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory each week. Four credits. Prerequisites: Chemistry 121, 131 or Biology 104, 107. Chemistry 111 or Biology 102 with permission of instructor.
