Elaine Rizzo, Ph.D. is a Professor of Criminal Justice and co-chairs the Consortium on Justice and Society at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College. Her research interests include incarcerated women, domestic and acquaintance violence, youth and family development, peace/reconciliation and restorative justice, motivating factors in deviance, and the formation of campus-community partnerships. Dr. Rizzo has published and presented her research at national and international conferences, served on violence prevention coalitions and as a consultant to police departments, courts, and prisons, and has organized conferences on domestic violence; innovations in justice; incarceration; and peace and reconciliation.
