Academic Programs in Peace and Conflict Studies
INCORE is a joint project between the University of Ulster and the United Nations University.  INCORE focuses on the causes and consequences of conflict in Northern Ireland and around the world, and supports conflict management.

Restorative Justice Initiative 
The Restorative Justice Initiative was established by the Marquette University Law School.  The goal of this initiative is to be a resource for victims, communities, and restorative justice organizations.

The University of Sydney established this organization to promote research and teaching on the causes of conflict.  In addition, conditions that influence conflict resolution and peace are described.

The Centre for Restorative Justice
This initiative was created by the Simon Fraser University School of Criminology.  According to the Centre for Restorative Justice, conflict should be viewed as an opportunity for a community to grow and learn. 

Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution
The University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law established this to create techniques that could be used to manage and resolve domestic and international conflict.

Conflict Research Consortium
The Conflict Research Consortium was established by the University of Colorado as a center for research and teaching about conflict and how it changes throughout history.

Center for Justice and Peace Building
This program was established by the Eastern Mennonite University.  The goal of this agenda is to support conflict transformation and peace building efforts at every level of society.

Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution
Nova Southeastern University began this department to focus on all aspects of conflict resolution.

Established by the Harvard Law School as a resource for people who wish to learn about the negotiation and alternative dispute resolution.

George Mason University established this institute so students and faculty could develop theories and conduct research that interpret the cycles of violence.
