Adrienne Kernan La Vallee received her M.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College or Art, where she studied with Grace Hartigan, Sal Scarpita, and Edward Dugmore. She received her B.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. She also attended Richmond College in Florence Italy, where she studied Renaissance Art.
Professor La Vallee has spent twenty years teaching within the Fine Arts Department and Saint Anselm College. The courses she has offered include: Humanities III; Survey of Latin American Art; Drawing I; Drawing II; Watercolor; Elementary Oil Painting; Printmaking; Visual Communications; and Color and Design. From 1988-1997 she served as Assistant Director of the Chapel Art Center. Professor La Vallee is an exhibiting painter and pintmaker whose work is in collections throughout the United States, Mexico, and England. |
