Spanish for Health Care Providers

This 5-session beginner's course will introduce students to the fundamentals of the Spanish language. Emphasis will be on vocabulary development and grammatical structures that professionals will use in the health care setting. Students will be actively engaged in role-playing and other situational experiences to develop communicative competence. In addition, students will increase their sensitivity and cultural awareness of the growing and diverse Latino population in the area.
