Brother Isaac Murphy, OSB is a monk of Saint Anselm Abbey and a Lecturer in the Department of Politics. He has a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Francis Xavier University (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago, and is currently A.B.D. at Chicago. His current research focuses on the connection between religion and politics, church and state. Bro. Isaac is the Prior of Saint Anselm Abbey and a member of the Governing Board of the College.
