Internship Opportunities
The Department of Politics encourages its majors to take internships. An internship can serve as a valuable test for our majors to make a well-informed choice about his or her future goals. Our majors are offered a variety of internship possibilities in Concord, Boston, Washington, D.C , and in the House of Commons in London. Students in their junior and senior years are allowed to take internships. Students may not be paid, and are required to write a term paper on their internship experience, in order to receive credit. If you are interested in an internship, see the department chair.
- Saint Anselm College politics majors have frequently pursued internships in Washington, D.C. Among the many programs in Washington, we have found two to be exceptional, The Washington Center and The Fund for American Studies at Georgetown University. Their Web pages are www.twc.edu (The Washington Center) and www.dcinternships.org (The Fund for American Studies)
