Graduating seniors are certified for graduation by the Registrar's Office, with the assistance of departmental chairpersons to verify successful completion of major requirements.

All seniors must file an Application for Degree form by the deadline set by the Office of the Registrar.

It is the student's responsibility to see that official transcripts of all work completed at other institutions are on file in the Office of the Registrar well in advance of the anticipated date of graduation.

Only students who have completed all requirements for graduation are permitted to participate in Commencement Exercises.  If, because of an extraordinary circumstance beyond his/her control, a student has not completed all requirements, that student may petition the Dean of the College to grant an exception.
