Full time Students
*Four or five courses is considered full-time enrollment.  For students who have matriculated full-time, the expectations is that requirements for the degree will be completed within eight years from the initial enrollment.

Part-Time Students
Three or less courses is considered part-time enrollment.  Students who have been admitted to a degree program may occasionally choose to take fewer courses than a full-time enrollment.  Part time students, like full time students, are expected to graduate within eight years from the initial enrollment

Special Students (Non-degree Students)
A limited number of non-degree students are permitted to register for classes at Saint Anselm College on a course-by-course basis.  Non-degree students are not permitted to enroll for a full-time course load (4-5 courses) and are ordinarily not allowed to take more than six courses.

*Full time students taking four courses who wish to withdraw from another course should be advised that their full-time status will change to part time status which could jeopardize their financial aid and on-campus housing.
