2009 SAT Preparation Program
This 10 class program covers general strategies for taking the SAT I Reasoning Test. This program includes specific strategies for the various types of questions in the verbal and math sections. Students complete and review practice exercises, and take practice exams in the verbal and math sections of the SAT.


SAT Preparation Sessions

The next session of the SAT Preparation classes will be held during the Winter/Spring of 2010.

Faculty Biographies

Dr. Joe Catanese

Dr. Joe Catanese has 37 years of experience as an educator at the high school and college levels. He is the founding director of The Academic Resource Center at Saint Anselm College where he is a member of the Humanities Department and serves as Director of The Academic Resource Center. He has taught classes in English Composition, Literature, Reading, Study Skills and Education. He has conducted the SAT Preparation Program at Saint Anselm College for thirty years, teaching the critical reading and writing portion of the program. He serves on a number of committees at the college and as the college’s Faculty Athletics Representative.

Pamela B. Cohen

Pamela is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Southern New Hampshire University, teaching a wide range of courses in the undergraduate day school and in the SNHU Distance Education Program. She is active on the University Faculty Senate, the University Human Resources Committee, and serves as the Math Department faculty liaison to SNHU’s continuing education and on-line math faculty.  In addition, Ms. Cohen teaches SAT Math Preparation for high school students.  Professor Cohen has been teaching mathematics at the secondary and post-secondary level for over thirty years.

Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of registration form and fee. Directions to the college, a campus map, and a parking permit will be included.

Make-up class: if class is canceled due to inclement weather or any other reason, a “make-up” class will be scheduled.
