This popular and exciting program offered by Campus Ministry enables students to spend their spring break living and working with the poor. The "hands on" nature of this program, focusing on Christian service and community, gives participants the chance to build and renovate homes, to work in various small construction projects, as well as to visit families and individuals in the community.

Because of its popularity, sign-up and meetings for Spring Break Alternative begin in late September. This year, we will have 237 students participate in Spring Break Alternative. SBA 2010, in its 20th year, will be the largest program St. Anselm has ever seen, totaling 16 trips in 12 states and Costa Rica.
