Sam Allen

Entering his 26th with the college, Sam is strongly committed to the employability and versatility of a liberal arts education in today's ever-changing work place. In addition to meeting with students and alumni individually, Sam maintains relationships with a variety of external constituencies including employers and alumni in order to broaden experiential and postgraduate options. A frequent speaker, workshop presenter, and consultant on topics ranging from employee sourcing to career programming, Sam has a broad background in employer relations, career counseling, and consortium services. Prior to coming to Saint Anselm, Sam worked for the New Hampshire College and University Council, in the Career Services Office at the University of New Hampshire and as a social worker and therapist with court adjudicated adolescents and adult ex-addicts. He holds a degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire.

Carol believes that students who are ready to begin the journey of career exploration need only take a step into Career Education Services, where they will be encouraged to explore their interests, values and skills.  Carol enjoys helping students with this process, which eventually leads them to a greater understanding of themselves and, ultimately, their career goals.  As assistant director, Carol advises students individually, developing and presenting workshops, and building connections on campus with faculty, staff and students.  Prior to coming to Saint Anselm College, Carol worked as the Career Services Assistant in the Career Development Center at Rivier College, Nashua, NH.   She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, MA, and a Master’s degree in Education from Rivier College.

Shelli Vogeley

Administrative Assistant & Employer Relations Coordinator
Shelli serves as the office manager and works closely with employers seeking to visit the College.  She holds an Associate's degree in Travel and Tourism from Endicott College.
