If you have on-campus housing, you should notify the director of residence life of your education abroad plans and make arrangements for housing for the semester you are scheduled to return.
If you receive financial aid, you should make an appointment with the Office of Financial Aid to discuss your education -abroad plans and to make necessary arrangements concerning financial aid. Arrangements can be made to use federal financial aid awards for education -abroad programs. Saint Anselm grants and scholarships cannot be applied to the cost of education -abroad programs.
Course registration for the semester of your return to Saint Anselm may be done by mail, fax, or e-mail. You are responsible for making arrangements with your advisor or the registrar for pre-registering for classes while you are abroad. You may also wait until you return home, but courses will be offered on a space-available basis.
At the completion of your education -abroad program, you must request that a transcript be sent directly from the education -abroad program to the registrar at Saint Anselm. All approved courses will be posted on your Saint Anselm transcript, but the credits will not be calculated into your GPA.
At the completion of your education-abroad program, you should complete an evaluation of the program so it can be made available to students in the Education Abroad Library. Forms are provided.
If you have any questions, please contact the Education Abroad Office at (603) 641-7371.
