The Geisel Library offers wireless Internet access in most areas of the building. Community members with an appropriately configured notebook or laptop can now work at a carrel or in the Reading Room and stay connected to the network.

Wireless access in Geisel Library has been upgraded to the G standard. B wireless cards will still work, but G-enabled wireless laptops will have faster access.

This means that laptops can take full advantage of the increased bandwidth if they have an IEEE 802.11g-compatible (or G standard) wireless card. Dual and triple standard cards will work also, as long they include support for the G standard (i.e., B/G, A/G, etc.). The G Standard Wireless Card can be purchased at the Saint Anselm Bookstore.
