Father Bernard Court is a community allowing upperclassmen a more independent living environment than traditional residence halls. The community is staffed by an AC and 8 RAs.

Accommodations
Apartments have two bedrooms and most have one and a half bathrooms. They come with a traditional kitchen (stove, sink, and fridge), and furnished with a couch, chairs, coffee table, kitchen table and chairs, and a bed and desk per resident. Also provided is a campus telephone line, cable connection, and adequate internet hook-ups for each resident.  Apartments A-H and J are townhouse apartments with bedrooms and a full bathroom located upstairs.  Apartments I, K, and L are garden-style apartments (one-floor). Handicap accessible apartments are located in buildings G and L. These apartments have one bathroom each.

Residents need to supply their own kitchen amenities (pots, dishes, etc.) and are allowed an optional meal plan through dining services.

All college assigned furnishings must be kept in the apartment. No storage facilities are provided. Residents are responsible for cleaning their apartments and the removal of garbage to the provided dumpsters. Laundry facilities are located in buildings E, I and K and M.

Building G:  Groups of five students may choose to live in Building G (Barlow Hall).  These apartments are better suited for an additional person given their slightly larger size.  This option is advantageous for students planning to study abroad or participate in the Washington Center internship.  The incentive will be a reduced room charge for each resident of the apartment, on a monthly basis, when all five are in residence

Housing Condition
Residents check-in with an RD or RA and sign off on the condition of the apartment on the Room Condition Form. At the end of spring semester, residents check-out to compare any damage that happened over the course of the year. Damage or maintenance needs throughout the semester should be reported to the Residence Life staff assigned to the area.

Resident Policies
Residents follow college housing policies, found in the Student Handbook and the Father Bernard Court handbook. Each resident is given a handbook at move in time.
