Campus Renewal

Saint Anselm's 400-acre, hilltop campus is one of its proudest assets. First-time visitors are struck by its harmonious blend of natural beauty and graceful architecture. However, many of the residence buildings that transformed the campus in 1960 now require major renovation. New academic and administrative spaces are needed, as are public spaces for study and student life activities, technological infrastructure and upgrades, and residential buildings that reflect the needs and expectations of today's students.

Because of current financial pressures, maintenance and capital requests are often deferred in order to address priorities of a more pressing nature. The Campaign for Saint Anselm College seeks $13 million in funds for physical plant endowment, for technology infrastructure or equipment, and for ongoing maintenance.

Academic Facilities
The proud stewardship of Saint Anselm's academic facilities reflects the College's desire to preserve and extend their usefulness for future generations of students. Technology-enhanced classrooms that improve the educational experience for faculty and students, as well as new faculty and administrative offices, are among the campaign's funding priorities.

Technology Endowment
Saint Anselm must create new classrooms and laboratories—and renovate existing ones—to incorporate 21st century technology. An endowment to support technology will enable the College to offer students and faculty the latest in educational software and multimedia delivery systems as well as video and projection equipment.

Athletic Facilities
Athletics is a vital part of a Saint Anselm education. Through involvement in intercollegiate and intramural sports, our students experience better health and fitness, develop competitive skills, and enjoy the excitement and spirit that sports provide.
