Karin (Kane) Bloom
Karin and Kraig proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Kiley Kane. Kiley was born on January 7, 2007. She has a big brother, Dillon (2.5). The family resides in Wilmington, Mass.

Michael P. Calabro
After three years of service, Michael left the office of Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) on Capitol Hill. He will remain in Washington, D.C. and has accepted a Legislative Assistant/Lobbying position at Van Scoyoc Associates Inc. While hoping to remain heavily involved with the Mass. and N.H. delegations, Michael will now be covering a broad span of issues including Defense, Trade, Environment, and Telecommunications. He is also looking to pursue his juris doctor sometime next fall.

Ryan Carroll
Ryan is engaged to Heather Craven '01. Heather received her MBA from Daniel Webster College in 2005 and works for Fidelity Investments as a product business analysis manager. Ryan is a systems/operations manager at StreetDelivery in Amesbury, Mass. The couple will be married at the Abbey Church in September 2007.

Jessica (Petty) Cote
Jessica married Joshua Cote at the Abbey Church in May of 2005. Their son, Devan David Cote, was born in August 2005, and they are expecting their second child in May 2007.

Laura (Abraham) DePlacido
Laura married Mike DePlacido on June 24, 2006, in Beverly, Mass. She completed her master's degree in elementary education and is working on a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Interdisciplinary Studies; Counseling and Psychology. She is a sixth grade teacher for the Methuen Public Schools system.

Brett  and Kristin (Pratt) Rowley
Brett and Kristin announce the birth of their son, Owen Seth, who was born on May 28, 2004.

2001
Mark William Bracken
Mark graduated from Suffolk University Law School in May of 2004.  During the fall, Mark worked for the Kerry/Edwards campaign as a senior staffer on advancement and credentialing  Afterward, he was appointed policy analyst under Chairman Ronald Mariano on the Joint Committee on Insurance at the Massachusetts State House. Mark lives in Quincy, Mass. where he remains active in the political landscape as both a grassroots organizer and activist.

David Brown
Dave was promoted to Captain in January 2006. He is deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VII. This is his second tour to Afghanistan. He serves as the battalion logistics officer for his Infantry Battalion. When he returns from the deployment in May, he will attend the Infantry Captain's Career Course,Georgia, in the fall.

Lynne Comer
Lynne is in San Diego Calif., working as a traveling nurse on a cardiac step down unit. She is heading back to Boston, Mass. this summer.

John Gianitsis
John completed another degree, this time in nursing and is working at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on the Thoracic Surgery Step Down Unit.

Keith McCarthy
Keith married Elma Pereira in Lincoln Mass. in September 2006. They reside in Norwood Mass. and are planning a wedding in Brazil for 2007 or 2008. Keith works for BiogenIdec in Cambridge Mass.

Anthony and Mary (Denslow '02) Mottolo
Anthony and Mary live in Dracut, Mass. and run the Mottolo family business in North Reading. They are joyfully raising their 2-year-old son Peter.

Silvana Waghelstein
Silvana was commisioned into the US Army as a signal officer after graduation. She attended training and Airborne School in Georgia, and was stationed at historical Fort Huachuca. She served in the 11th Signal Brigade as platoon leader in Kuwait, Iraq and Djibouti (Africa), then as company executive officer, assisant operations officer (S3), and battalion maintenance officer. Silvana was then selected to work as the assisant secretary to the General's staff at NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command for a 2 star general acting as a link between the general and his senior level staff officers. She was promoted to captain in April 2005 and left active duty in the summer 2006. Still serving in the reserves, and working in Tucson Ariz., Silvana was recently re-activated into the Active Duty Army and is deploying again to Iraq for another year's tour. She will head overseas in the first few feeks of 2007 to serve as a combat safety officer and communications officer for her unit.

2002
James Collura
James was promoted to vice president for government affairs at the New England Fuel Institute in Watertown, Massachussetts.

Meghan O'Brien-Girard and and Andrew Girard
Meghan and Andrew were married on June 18 in Falmouth, Mass. They live in Canton, Mass. Meghan works for The Hanover Insurance Group and Andrew works for Investors Bank and Trust. Meghan is attending UMass Boston part time in the MBA program, and Andrew will soon return to school for a graduate degree as well.

Mary (Denslow) and Anthony '01 Mottolo
Mary and Anthony live in Dracut, Mass. and run the Mottolo family business in North Reading. They are joyfully raising their 2-year-old son Peter.

Carolee (Dame) Stafford
Carolee lives with her husband, Brian, in Manchester. She is a nurse in orthopedics and women's health med-surg for Elliot Hospital while her husband travels to Quincy where he is an operations manager for Home Depot.

Shana Suslak
Shana, Jill Williams (Shipman) '03, and Laura Power '03 work together for a booming medical software company in Westborough, Mass! Nothing is better than working with your friends.

Charlie Washuk
Charlie and Sarah moved to L.A. in August 2006 for a three year assignment. Charlie, now a captain in the Air Force, works at Loyola Marymount University, L.A., as an AFROTC instructor and Sarah is a senior executive assistant to the regional director of Perot Systems, also in L.A.

2003
Kate Allard
Kate is attending graduate school at Yale University working towards a masters degree as a pediatric nurse practitoner. Kate is engaged to Todd Manuel '02 and the couple will wed August 5, 2007, in Western Mass.

Kelli Borger
Kelli is engaged to Justin Smith of Mobile, Ala. The wedding will be in Stone Mountain, Ga. in September 2007. Kelli is currently working for Insurity in Alpharetta, Ga. Justin is a commercial realtor in Mobile, Ala. The couple met while Justin was living in Atlanta, Ga.

Kristin Robidoux
Six weeks into student teaching for elementary and general special ed at Bicentennial Elementary School, Nashua, N.H., Kristin was hired as a grade 4/5 EH teacher at Broad Street Elementary School, Nashua. She will recieve a masters in elementary and general special education in December.

Phaedra (Roli) and Ryan Schmidt
Phaedra married Ryan on November 18, 2006, at the Saint Anselm Abbey Church. They currently reside in Burlington, Mass.

Andrew Turchon
After completing his last final exam in May, Andrew departed for Georgia to begin hiking the Appalachian Trail. This 2,168 mile trail extends from Ga. to Maine. Andrew plans to finish his hike in Oct., 2003.

Jay Weinberg
Jay recently returned from a 45 city US tour as stage manager for the rock band, Alice In Chains.

2004
Aaron Crear
Aaron is an account manager at SPI in Billerica, Mass. SPI is a technical consulting firm that specializes in hardware, software and embedded systems engineering. He is pursuing a MBA at Umass-Lowell.

Charles Perreault
Charles is engaged to Melissa Proverb '06. Melissa works at Dalkia North America in Quincy, as an office assistant. Charles will graduate from Boston College in May 2007, majoring in higher education administration. He works in the Registrar's Office, at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The couple will marry at the Abbey Church in August of 2008.

Katie Sullivan
Katie completed her master's degree in elementary education in August of 2006 through Lesley University. She works with third and fourth grade special needs students in her hometown of Scituate, Mass.

2005
Ashley Southwell
Ashley was promoted to senior researcher at the NI2 Center for Infrastructure Expertise in Portsmouth, N.H. after an intership in 2004 and returning after graduation as a part-time research analyst. She works closely with Amy (Uzdavinis) Hamel '97 on projects related to the protection of critical infrastructure in the United States. Ashley purchased her first house in her hometown of Alton, N.H with boyfriend, Jon Douglas, and their black lab puppy, Ally.

2006
Erica Horan
Erica is a registered nurse on a cardiac step-down/interventional cardiology unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass. In March, she will be a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force as an ICU/Critical Care nurse and receive training as a flight nurse. She will be stationed at Travis AFB in California.
