4/08 -- Edward (Joseph) Lynch
What's new in life: I am retired, but working actively 20 hours a week as a volunteer at an adult day care facility and also serve as a senior companion to two gentleman clients two day a week....I recently had a phone call from my class representative Walter Gallo inviting me to attend the 50th reunion of my class. Unfortunately circumstances prevent me from doing so this time. I did attend both the 40th and 45th reunions. I have been widowed for the past eleven years but do have a significant other at this time...Best wishes to all of my fellow classmates and to Saint Anselm College and all of the Benedictine community.
2/08 -- John Dwyer Kirwin
What's new in life: As of May 28, 2007, I am now enjoying active retirement, which amounts to "filling in" or as our Episcopalian brothers and sisters call it "supplying" at various and sundry locations throughout the diocese and outside. When not doing that I've become a nursery school chauffer and baby sitter extraordinaire for my grand nephews and niece who live in the same town. My nephew claims I have grandchildren without ever having had children! It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend that every seminarian, priest, bishop (including the white beaney one in Rome) ought to have the same experience in their resumes. They might thereafter sing a different tune when it comes to "responsible" family planning. As Al Grenert of happy Anselmian memory use to say 'rhythm doesn't do it!' Having three children under four is a full time job and then some.
