Built in 1960, Stoutenburgh Gymnasium serves as home court for men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball. The facility is named after William Stoutenburgh, a former chairman of the board of trustees for many years. With a basketball seating capacity of 1,200, Stoutenburgh is known for providing Saint Anselm basketball fans with seating close to the action.
The gymnasium underwent a complete lower-level renovation in 1994, which created larger private locker rooms for every seasonal varsity sport, new shower and restroom facilities, and included other structural improvements.
Stoutenburgh Gymnasium is also utilized for the college's extensive intramural program during the winter and spring seasons, is host to a number of summer athletic camps, and is used for college social events.
