Easton, Mass. (September 22) -- The volleyball team fell 3-1 (30-28, 26-30, 30-27, 30-21) to Assumption at Stonehill's Merkert Gymnasium in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon.  The win improves Assumption to 8-3 overall, while the loss drops the Hawks to 1-11 overall.

Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass.) led the Hawks with 13 kills.  Samantha Regan (Danville, N.H.) recorded 23 digs, while Kelly O'Dea (Andover, Mass.) notched 27 assists.  Stephanie Devlin (Middleton, Mass.) pitched in with five blocks.

The Hawks return to action Tuesday, September 25, hosting Saint Michael's at 7:30 p.m. at Stoughtenburgh Gymnasium.
