Easton, Mass. (September 22) -- The volleyball team fell to Stonehill 3-0 (30-13, 30-24, 30-26) at Stonehill's Merkert Gymnasium.  The win improves Stonehill to 3-9 overall, 2-2 Northeast-10, while the loss drops the Hawks to 1-10 overall, 0-6 Northeast-10.

For the Hawks, Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass.) posted eight kills for the team high, while Crystal Vaughn (Farmington, N.H.) and Stephanie Devlin (Middleton, Mass.) both pitched in with seven kills apiece.  Vaughn also added 12 digs for the team high.  Kelly O'Dea (Andover, Mass.) recorded 24 assists.

Katherine Masson led Stonehill with 19 kills and 2.5 blocks, and Heidi Woerner had 12 kills of her own.  Andrea Wirth notched 45 assists and 12 digs, while Samantha Marcin had 12 digs as well. 

The Hawks return to action at 1:00 p.m., playing Assumption at Stonehill's Merkert Gymnasium in a non-conference match.
