Hawks Fall 3-0 to American International


Springfield, Mass. (October 3) -- The Hawks fell 3-0 (30-24, 30-22, 30-18) to American International Wednesday evening at Botava Gymnasium.  The win improves the Yellow Jackets to 4-7 overall, 2-5 Northeast-10, while the loss drops the Hawks to 2-13 overall, 1-8 Northeast-10. 

For American International, Kambryn Williams recorded a game-high 12 kills, while Katie Wilkinson notched 11 kills.  Ozge Ozkan had a game-high 35 assists, and Charisse Trotman led all players with 17 digs. 

For the Hawks, Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass./Central Catholic) led the team with eight kills, while sophomore Heather Sherlock (North Andover, Mass./Central Catholic) totaled 13 digs.  

The Hawks return to the court Saturday, October 6, heading to Stonehill for a noon start.
