Hawks Fall to Stonehill in Five Games


N. Easton, Mass. (October 6) -- The volleyball team dropped a 3-2 (27-30, 30-28, 30-32, 30-22, 19-17) contest to Stonehill on Saturday afternoon at Stonehill's Merkert Gymnasium.  The loss drops the Hawks to 2-14, 1-9 Northeast-10, while the win improves Stonehill to 6-12, 3-3 in league play.

Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass.) led the Hawks with a match high 27 kills and 3.5 blocks.  Kelly O'Dea (Andover, Mass.) recorded a match high 61 assists, while Heather Sherlock (No. Andover, Mass.) had the match high with 22 digs.  Stephanie Devlin (Middleton, Mass.) pitched in with 19 kills, and Samantha Regan (Danville, N.H.) had 20 digs.

The Hawks return to the court Tuesday evening, heading to cross-town rival Southern New Hampshire for a 7:00 p.m. start.
