Hawks Fall at Saint Rose, 3-1

Albany, N.Y. (October 26) -- The volleyball team dropped a 3-1 (30-21, 30-15, 26-30, 30-15) final to Saint Rose at Saint Rose's Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium on Friday evening. The loss drops the Hawks to 3-20, 2-11 Northeast-10, while the win improves the Golden Knights to 13-11, 6-6 in league play.

Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass.) remains on track to break Saint Anselm's all-time kill record, as she recorded seven in last night's match.  McNeil needs five more to break the record, with matches left to play against Le Moyne and UMass Lowell. Kelly O'Dea (Andover, Mass.) led the Hawks in passing with 28 assists, while also picking up three service aces and nine digs. Beth Lonergan (S. Dennis, Mass.) chipped in with 21 digs.

The Hawks return to the court, traveling to Le Moyne, on Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. start.
