Easton, Mass. (March 24) -- Saint Anselm freshman goalie Pat Acone (Bow, N.H.) has been honored as the Northeast-10 Men's Lacrosse Freshman of the Week for his play during the week ending March 23rd.

In a 2-0 week for the Hawks, Acone made 27 total saves as the team improved to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in Northeast-10 play. The highlight of his week came in a 9-8 road win at Bentley on Saturday as Acone turned aside 24 shots to pick up the win.

The Hawks are back in action on Saturday, March 29th as the team travels to Assumption for a 1 p.m. start.
